It’s the end of an era for Schwartz & Sandy’s, the LA bar and restaurant owned by “Vanderpump Rules” reality stars Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval.

The duo from the hit Bravo series announced they are closing the doors of the LA establishment in the Franklin Village neighborhood after two years.

Sandoval announced the closure in a post on Instagram Monday morning.

“It is with heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to close Schwartz & Sandy’s at the end of December,” his caption read. “This was not an easy decision for my partners and I, but other priorities and commitments prevailed. While this business venture has been an incredible step in my life that I will always cherish, I look forward to exciting new endeavors.”

He thanked the “incredible staff and everyone” who supported the two along the way.

“You deserve true recognition. “I can’t thank you enough for making Schwartz & Sandy’s a place of lasting memories,” he continued.

He then pointed out that the establishment is more than just a meeting place for fans of the reality show.

“The appeal of being associated with reality TV has also hidden an amazing space and location for locals in LA. I highly recommend you check us out, especially if you haven’t already.
Let’s come together one last time.”

Sandoval’s business partner also took to the social media site to announce the closure.

“Well guys, it’s fucking sad to post this. I’ll write a more sentimental post later. I just want to keep my spirits up and throw some parties to end the year,” he wrote in the caption.

He then continued with the light-hearted post, saying he was in Florida and wrote the caption with “a cold Coors light and a Publix sub.”

“We will finish FUN,” he assured fans.

Schwartz and Sandy’s in November 2022 following the successful opening of TomTom in West Hollywood with the help of Lisa Vanderpump.

Months later, Sandoval was involved in a cheating scandal between his longtime partner Ariana Madix and her friend Raquel Leviss, nicknamed “Scandavol.”

While the scandal made for great television, it wasn’t good for business. Fans of Madix wrote scathing reviews on the restaurant’s Yelp page.

Schwartz told People magazine that the scandal also stemmed from the two closing doors.

“It wasn’t easy to recover from all the negativity after the scandal, and the lower margins post-COVID made it even harder to get back on our feet,” he explained. “There’s not a lot of room for error in the restaurant/bar business.”

Until it closes at the end of December, Schwartz & Sandy’s will “host a number of events and have the opportunity to host additional events.”
