Kristen Doute pregnant and expecting a baby with Luke Broderick

Kristen Doute is pregnant!

The “Valley” star announced Tuesday that she is expecting a rainbow baby with her fiancé Luke Broderick.

“After losing a pregnancy last year, we decided to try in early 2024,” Doute told People.

“I knew my age could be a factor in conception, so Luke and I discussed an extra push, a little help.”

The 41-year-old Bravolebrity met extensively with a fertility specialist in late summer before deciding the best course of action would be intrauterine insemination.

“The next month was a whirlwind – getting fertility education and eventually hormone shots and preparing my body for IUI,” she explained, describing her “incredible” meeting with Dr. Carolyn Alexander at the Southern California Reproductive Center.

“She took care of us with a perfect balance of science and good energy and successfully helped us create our little miracle,” Doute said.

Two weeks after her first IUI session, the former Vanderpump Rules star discovered she was pregnant.

“The two weeks after the IUI procedure felt like years. To get a correct result on a pregnancy test, it took two weeks and I had to wait, but in my heart I knew it had worked,” she said.

“I tested a day early and the big PREGNANT result looked at me.”

Doute described feeling “relieved, overwhelmed, happy, excited and nervous.” As for Broderick, he was “not surprised, but so glad that the IUI worked the first time.”

“He was overjoyed and extremely excited to say the least!” the James Mae designer recalled, before revealing that her due date is June 2025.

Doute also shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of herself cradling her bare stomach and showing off an ultrasound image of her baby.

The reality TV star revealed in November 2023 that she had suffered a miscarriage at six weeks.

“The only reason I feel comfortable talking about it is because I know so many of my friends have been through it. I know so many women have been through this,” she told her “Sex, Love and What Else Matters” podcast listeners.

Doute then explained that her pregnancy was not viable and that it was a compromised egg, meaning no embryo had developed.

“You’re always thinking, ‘What’s going on, what did I do wrong?’ Could I have done something differently?’” she said. “And my doctor and my friends told me inside and out, up and down, that there was no reason for it. You don’t know why.”

While Doute and Broderick wait for their bundle of joy, they are also planning their wedding after getting engaged during a trip to Hawaii in September.

Doute and Broderick, 33, met at a wedding in June 2022. They began dating shortly after, but kept their romance a secret before going public in December.
