Kristen Doute Is Pregnant: Due Date Details With Her Fiancé Luke

Kristen Doute is pregnant and expecting her first child with her fiancé Luke Broderick.

The valley Actor who previously appeared in the first eight seasons of Vanderpump Rulesannounced the exciting news PEOPLE on November 26th

“After losing a pregnancy last year, we decided to try in early 2024,” Kristen told the outlet. “I knew my age could be a factor in conception, so Luke and I discussed an extra push, a little help.”

The couple met with a fertility specialist at the Southern California Reproductive Center and ultimately used intrauterine insemination (IUI) to conceive their “little miracle.”

“The two weeks after the IUI procedure felt like years,” Kristen continued. “To get a correct result on a pregnancy test, it took two weeks and I had to wait, but in my heart I knew it had worked. I tested a day early and the big PREGNANT result stared at me.”

When Kristen saw the positive result, she felt “relieved, overwhelmed, happy, excited and nervous.”

“When I told Luke about it, he wasn’t surprised, but SO happy that the IUI worked the first time (we were prepared for the possibility that it wouldn’t),” she added. “He was over the moon and extremely excited to say the least!”

The former SUR waitress openly expressed her desire to start a family with Luke. In season 1 of The valleyKristen told her then-boyfriend that the road to parenthood could be a long one.

“I can’t just pass out like any other day of the week, and I feel like it might be really difficult,” Kristen explained to Luke, who is nine years her junior.

“I’m 40. It’s been five years since the geriatric pregnancy, which seems shitty,” she said. “I don’t want to keep talking about it or thinking about it or saying it out loud because I feel like I’m putting that out into the universe. I’m trying not to put all that stress and pressure on myself.”

Kristen also opened up about her pregnancy loss on an episode of her and Luke’s podcast. Balancing act with Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick.

“It’s really fucking terrifying because you’re always like, ‘What’s going on? What did i do wrong? Could I have done something differently?’” Kristen said on the podcast, noting that she wanted to share her story to help others who haven’t been in similar situations. “And my doctor and my friends told me inside and out, up and down, that there is no reason – you can google it until the day you die – there is literally no reason. You don’t know why.”

“At home in LA traffic,” she wrote in an Instagram Story after the couple touched down in California. “Another day, another fertility appointment,” she added along with the thumb emoji.

Fast forward to November 2024, and the couple is now expecting their first baby together.
