The Evil The cast traveled all over the world – from Sydney to LA – during the press tour for the film, but Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have now added a stop of their own. The couple recently visited Grande’s hometown of Boca Ratón, Florida to enjoy the film with her family, and luckily they gave fans a glimpse on social media.

On Nov. 25, Ariana Grande shared on her Instagram Stories that she took a day trip to Florida to see “Wicked” on the big screen with her Nonna Marjorie and brother Frankie — and of course, Ethan Slater was there too.

Ariana first posted a picture of herself in the theater, leaning against her nonna – who, like an icon, had her dog on her lap – while Frankie looked on from the next seat. “I flew to Boca for a day to watch with Nonna at the movie theater I grew up going to every weekend, Cinemark 20 in Boca,” Grande wrote on the photo, according to her tag was recorded by Slater.

In case there was any doubt about who the family’s personal photographer was, Ariana added another shot of the trio holding hands mid-film, tagging Slater again and this time clarifying with a small tag and a smiley face. that he was the photographer.

“I’m thrilled to report that as the Sugar Glider played her drum solo, Nonna exclaimed, ‘Oh, I LOVE that,'” Ariana wrote in the slide, tagging director John M. Chu. Slater reposted the slide in his own stories but added no further comment.

To complete the recap of the watch session, Ariana also posted a video of her Nonna watching the scene where Galinda, her character, sings the fan-favorite song “Popular.” In the clip, her Nonna can be seen smiling from ear to ear while holding Ariana’s hand. Ariana also giggles as the song ends, and the room, including Frankie, let out a loud cheer.

After much anticipation Evil Part One will finally be released in cinemas worldwide on November 22, 2024. In case you’ve been living under a rock, it stars Ariana Grande as Galinda/Glinda, the Good Witch, and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. An adaptation of the long-running Broadway musical, similar to its predecessor The Evil The film is inspired by Gregory Maguire’s 1995 book Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, which serves as a revisionist prequel to L. Frank Baum’s work The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
