The Portland Trail Blazers will face the Sacramento Kings at home at the Moda Center on November 29th at 7:00 pm PT. This will be their second game of the 2024-25 season against the Kings, which will be on the road against them in Sacramento on October 28, a 111-98 victory.

In their first game, the Kings were led by De’Aaron Fox and DeMar DeRozan, who had 24 and 23 points, respectively. The Blazers’ standout players were Deandre Ayton (20 points and 11 rebounds) and Scoot Henderson (18 points and five assists). The deciding factor, however, was three-point shooting, as Sacramento hit on 40 percent of its attempts compared to just 18.2 percent for Portland.

This could be a closer matchup since the Blazers are at home. They’ve also been playing a lot better basketball lately than they did early in the season, and this time they’ll have Shaedon Sharpe. However, the Blazers still have a long injury list heading into this matchup, similar to their recent loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Matisse Thybulle (ankle) and Donovan Clingan (knee) are out for Portland. Thybulle suffered a right ankle sprain and will be out for three to six weeks, while Clingan suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain and will be reevaluated in two weeks.

Other Blazers on the injury report include Kris Murray (chest), Jerami Grant (knee) and Robert Williams III (concussion protocol). All three players missed the last game against the Pacers and are also at risk of missing out against the Kings. Especially Grant and Williams, who are both listed as doubtful. Murray is questionable and will be a game-changing decision.

UPDATE: Scoot Henderson (Quad) is listed as questionable. Kris Murray has been upgraded to probable and is expected to play. Dalano Banton (knee) is available.

The Kings’ injury list is shorter, but still more significant. Sacramento will be without star striker DeMar DeRozan (back). Devin Carter (shoulder) and Trey Lyles (calf) are also out.

DeRozan’s back inflammation injury is the shortest of the three. Due to a right calf strain, Lyles will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks. Carter, Sacramento’s No. 13 overall pick last summer, suffered a torn labrum and had shoulder surgery in July. At that point he was given a six-month deadline for a reassessment.

It’s not a nationally televised game, but Blazers fans can watch it either over the air or through BlazerVision, their new streaming service that launched this year. Anyone looking over the air can do so for free with an antenna.

In the Portland area, the game will be broadcast on KATU Charge!: Channel 2.2. Here’s a complete streaming guide for watching in other Pacific Northwest areas outside of Portland. The other alternative is NBA LeaguePass (blackout restrictions apply).

The Blazers remain at home against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, December 1st, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT.
