Danny and his partner Witney were assigned to tango to Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen.

As he thought about how he wanted to express that he had improved, Danny told the cameras how the experience had “changed me” before launching into his performance.

“I was always afraid of embarrassing myself in front of people, but I just said, ‘Fuck it,'” he confessed. “And tonight is no different. It’s the finale. You know I can do it!”

As the couple hit the dance floor, Danny and Witney proved how committed they are to winning the Season 33 title.

“The release dance really worked,” Derek smiled. “For me, you were the dark force of this competition. The confidence you exude compared to the first dance is incredible.”

Joey is a sparkling gem

In a video package played before his performance, Joey can be seen descending from seventh heaven after his performance DWTS History as the first Bachelor to make it to the finals.

After Derek revealed that Joey and Jenna were doing Cha Cha to “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!” by Justin Timberlake for their release dance, the couple jumped straight into rehearsals.

Although he was nervous going into the dance with the new moves, Joey told the cameras that he was more than willing to take the “risk.”

“I’m going to leave this dance floor knowing that I did everything I could and I left it all out there,” he said.

Finally, Joey and Jenna threw themselves into their performance and delivered a perfect show that met both the jury’s and the audience’s expectations.

“Joey, that wasn’t a release dance. “That was a punctuation mark to let everyone know that you’re one of the top contenders on this show,” Derek beamed.

Bruno agreed, adding: “It really was like a sparkling, perfectly polished jewel of a cha-cha-cha!”

Stephen radiates joy

Before his cathartic performance, Stephen noted that reaching the final was a big moment not only for him, but also for his partner Rylee.

“We’ve just built such a great relationship and it feels great to get it to this point,” he told cameras. Despite finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard last week, the Olympian was as determined as ever to make it to the top.

“There was a lot of pressure on me when I was at the Olympics and I handled it perfectly,” he smiled confidently.

After Bruno announced that the duo would be performing a quickstep, Stephen and Rylee got to work rehearsing. As the duo took the stage, they wowed judges and audience alike with their energetic routine as they flew around the dance floor.

“As I watched this dance, all I could think about was that Len Goodman, this gentleman, this mirror ball (trophy) here, would have been smiling from ear to ear,” smiled Carrie Ann. “It was absolutely the best thing I’ve ever seen.”

“You’re like sunshine, like two little antidepressants dancing across the floor,” Derek joked. “Seriously, he just radiates joy with every single step and every dance.”

To kick off tonight’s finale episode, the celebrities eliminated from the show made an exciting return to the ballroom with an energetic opening number to Madonna’s “Holiday.”

Previous contestants including Anna, Tori, Dwight Howard, Reginald Vel Johnson, Brooks Nader and more are reunited with them DWTS professionals and gave the audience a funny surprise.

At the start of the finale, it was announced that each couple would perform a judge-assigned “Redemption Dance” as well as a “Freestyle” routine.

Danny and Witney dance a tango to “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone with Morgan Wallen and a freestyle to “Pink” by Lizzo and “I’m Just Ken” by Ryan Gosling.

Joey and Jenna will cha cha to “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!” by Justin Timberlake and freestyle to “Canned Heat” by District 78 ft Jake Simpson.

Chandler and Brandon will dance a jive to “APT.” by ROSÉ & Bruno Mars and a freestyle to “Hellzapoppin’” by Eyal Vilner Big Band and “Move On Up” by Curtis Mayfield.

Ilona and Alan will perform a jive to “Shake A Tail Feather” by Ray Charles & The Blues Brothers as well as a freestyle routine to Chappell Roan’s “Femininomenon” by District 78 ft Mona Rue.

Stephen and Rylee will do the quickstep to “I’ll Be There for You” by the Rembrandts and a freestyle to “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay.

Since it’s the finale, each couple has to perform their craziest stunts and tricks. However, strict rules apply to the use of elevators Dancing with the stars. While lifts are permitted in jitterbug, Argentine tango, Charleston, salsa, jazz, and contemporary dances, they are not permitted in rumba, cha cha, jive, paso doble, samba, tango, waltz, Viennese waltz, foxtrot, and quickstep dances.

According to the National Dance Council of America, a dancer must lift both feet off the floor with the help or support of their partner.

Anna Delvey is not impressed

After reuniting with her Dancing with the stars Anna, Ezra Sosa’s partner for the show’s finale, got to see the “Nothing” tattoo he got in her honor – and she didn’t hold back her opinion about it.

In an Instagram carousel she posted on November 26, Delvey included a video of the two of them, with Sosa taking off his shirt to show off the delicate tattoo on his back. She looks at it for a moment before saying, “Wow, why is it so small?” Come on, Ezra, you couldn’t afford anything bigger?”

Convicted cheater Delvey’s memorable – and controversial – final comment on the competition reality series was written on dance pro Sosa’s body in October after the pair were eliminated in Week 1 of the show. He first revealed the tattoo on social media.

When Delvey and Sosa were eliminated on the September 24 episode Dancing with the starsDelvey spoke her famous last word, which was heard “around the world.” When host Julianne Hough asked what she took away from her experience on the show, she replied bluntly: “Nothing.”

While chatting with former competitor Tori Spelling for the September 28 episode of her podcast spelling errorsshe stood by her viral reaction, saying it was “the truth” of her feelings.
